ROUND-UP - KSH Annual Symposium, March 10-11, 2017

Our 41st Annual KSH Symposium was held for the very first time at the Hilton Garden Inn at the airport (2735 Crittenden Drive, Louisville, 40209). EVERYONE loved the new venue.  We heard nothing but positive comments about the Hilton Garden Inn.  The hotel was beautiful.  Easier to get around and the 8th floor was all newly renovated rooms.  Beautiful! The staff was fantastic We had ALL the meeting rooms and they were all on the first floor.  Despite its location to the airport it was extremely quiet. We had 15 vendors this year, including the NSH table.

Our award winner this year were:

Bernadine Jones Scholarship recipient:  Laura Yates from Gastroenterology Health Partners

MTS scholarship:  Cathy Schmitz from St. Elizabeth Healthcare

Speaker of the Year: Shanna Pollock from CPA Lab

Histotechnologist of the Year:  Debbie Luttrell from Dermatopathology Alliance of Kentucky

We are already thinking about next year's Symposium. If you are interested in helping out or have an idea for a session, please contact us. We want the symposium to be as useful to our membership as possible and this can only be accomplished if we hear from YOU.
